Why am I not Receiving My Confirmation Code from Facebook?

 


Facebook is a platform everyone loves and most of us use it when there is some free time on our hands. But what happens when your Facebook is not opening anymore and you are unable to access it. 

Well, if you are unable to access your Facebook account, then you would obviously go for the recovery process. There are a couple of options available for you to recover a Facebook account. You can either use a mobile number, email or trusted contacts method to recover the account. 

But what if I tell you that ‘Facebook confirmation code email received’ on the email. Yes, this can happen sometimes and you have to deal with this kind of situation. 

How to Recover Facebook Password Without Confirmation Reset Code from Email 

Well, there are a couple of methods to reset the password but let’s check out the things you can do if you are not receiving the email. 

  • First of all, you should wait for a few minutes for the email to arrive in your inbox. Sometimes, SMTP protocol can take some time to deliver a simple email. 

  • You can also click on the not received code link to send the email once again. 

  • Even after that, you can open the Spam folder on your email and check it. Check if the email from Facebook couldn’t break the spam filter of the email service provider. Check your mailbox filters and make sure that Facebook.com is not on the blacklist and it is allowed to send emails in the inbox.  

Even after doing this, if you are unable to reset the password, you have to use a different method other than the Facebook confirmation code from the email. 

Use Mobile Number to Reset Password

  • Open the Facebook.com in the browser tab and click on the Forgot Password link. 

  • Now, enter your email address or mobile number to fetch the account from the database. 

  • Now, select the mobile number option and click on the Continue button to proceed to receive the code. 

  • Get the code from the mobile device and enter it into the Verify box and click on the Continue button. 

  • After that, enter the new password in the given fields and then click on the Save button. 

This way you can use your mobile number to reset the password of your account. If that also doesn’t work for you, then you can use the trusted contacts method to reset it.
